What information we collect

We may collect some or all of the following information:

• your name and contact details
• date of birth and residency
• qualifications, work history, resume and application forms
• salary/benefit information and bank account details
• drivers licence number
• information about your hobbies and interests .

If you consent, we may also collect sensitive information about you, including, your membership in a trade union, health information, information from police checks. It is up to you to choose the information that you give to us and you may still list your details on the Territory Worker Database minus any particular information that your wish to withhold.

Why we collect the information

We use the information we collect to provide prospective employers with the information they need to make a selection from the Territory Worker Database.

Your information is not used for any purpose other then inclusion on the Territory Worker Database.

Where we collect the information from

The only information we collect is the information directly provided from you, when you register for the Territory Worker Database.

Disclosures

To whom do we regularly disclose personal information?

We will disclose personal information to prospective employers for the purpose of your recruitment into specific positions.

We may also disclose your personal information to the following parties:

• our agents, contractors (eg people who are authorised to administer our computer systems), professional advisers, consultants and representatives;
• you where you need to check or update your details;
• potential employers that have registered with the Territory Worker Database and have unrestricted access to all information held on the database; and
• government bodies or others as required/authorised by law.

Holding information

We take reasonable steps to ensure that all information we collect, use or disclose about you is accurate, complete and up-to-date.

If you believe that there is an error or information is missing and you are unable to correct these details yourself, please notify us and we will try to correct or add the information as soon as possible.

We take reasonable steps to ensure any personal information which we no longer require for any lawful purpose is disposed of in a secure manner or de-identified.

However, some personal records may be held for a specific period of time due to statutory requirements.
