Welcome to the Territory Worker Database, a web based employment portal delivered through the Northern Territory Government.
The Territory Worker Database provides an entry point Northern Territory employers and persons interested in gaining employment in the Northern Territory.
Submission of Business Details
To register as a potential employer in the Northern Territory, to search for potential employees in the Territory Worker Database, please complete the details in the registration form.
Please be aware that the Territory Worker Database is designed and operated only as a facilitating link between those persons interested in working in the Northern Territory and employment agencies or employers seeking workers for Territory-based jobs. The Northern Territory Government does not take an active role in the recruitment process.

Agreement - Terms and Conditions
The parties to this agreement are the Northern Territory of Australia, represented by the Department of Business and Employment - Workforce Growth NT Unit and you.
We require you to read, accept and abide by these terms and conditions when accessing the Territory Worker Database.
1. Definitions
Unless the context otherwise requires:
- "we" or "us" means the Northern Territory of Australia
- "you" means the legal entity or entities using this site
- "this site" means the equipment, programs and services provided to allow you to access publicly available information held in the databases of the Database Provider
- “Territory Worker Database” means a specialised database containing personal details of individuals who have registered an interest in working in the Northern Territory
- “Javascript” means Netscape JavaScript or ECMAScript.
2. Reliance on the Territory Worker Database
- We provide the Territory Worker Database as an information portal only. We give no warranty or assurance and make no representations as to the accuracy, currency, reliability and correctness of information provided in the Territory Worker Database or that this information is suitable for your intended use.
- You waive and release the Northern Territory Government to the full extent permitted by law from any and all claims relating to your use of information made available through the Territory Worker Database. Subject to any terms implied by law which cannot be excluded, in no event will the Northern Territory Government be liable for any losses or damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from use of the information.
3. Registration
You warrant that all information provided by you in your registration form is complete, current and accurate and does not mislead or misrepresent your identity. You agree that the Northern Territory Government may rely on that information unless and until it receives notice from you of any change or update to the information provided by you.
4. Access to the Territory Worker Database
- This site utilises Internet based technology. It is your responsibility to meet the minimum system requirements that are listed below. These requirements may be varied at any time by us. Notification of all changes to requirements will be provided on the home page of this site prior to the change occurring as appropriate.

5. Transmission Speed
We have no control over the speed of transmission of data you experience where you access this site using the Internet. This is dependent on external factors, including your Internet service provider.

- We do not guarantee that your access to this site will be uninterrupted. We will use our best efforts to provide access during the hours published on the site. However, there may be interruptions to services to facilitate urgent and reasonable maintenance by us.
- Scheduled maintenance periods are required to ensure the viability of this site. Notification of scheduled outages will be visible on the home page prior to these outages.

7. Access Outside Australia
We do not represent that material or services in this site are appropriate or available for use in countries outside Australia. If you choose to access this site from outside Australia, you are responsible for compliance with foreign and local laws.

- We are not responsible or liable for the availability or content of any other website which you may access through this site. The Northern Territory Government does not warrant, guarantee or make any representations as to the accuracy, currency, reliability and correctness of information provided through these linked sites.
- Access to any other internet site is at your own risk and it is your responsibility to take all necessary precautions to ensure that whatever you access or select from this site for your use is free of such items as viruses, worms, "Trojan horses" and other items of a destructive or damaging nature. We take no responsibility for damage incurred through the use of external links accessed through this site.
9. Security
- We use all available technology to protect the security of the information contained in the Territory Worker Database, however, we do not accept liability for the security, authenticity or integrity of any information held on the Territory Worker Database.

Despite its best efforts, the Northern Territory Government makes no warranties that this site is free of infections by computer viruses or other unauthorised software. - All successful logins and searches performed on the database are logged.

11. Use of Information
- This site is made available for data collection purposes only and your business details will be accessible to the Northern Territory Government for statistical reporting only.
- As a recruitment agency, industry organisation or individual company you agree to only use the information on the database for recruitment purposes relating to your business’s recruitment needs. Information on the database is not to be replicated or sold to third parties, in addition information on the database is not to be used for email campaigns or advertising purposes.
12. About You
You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from this site any unlawful, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane material, or any other material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under the law.
13. Charges
There are currently no charges for registration in the Territory Worker Database or the use of this site. We reserve the right to introduce new fees from time to time. You will be notified of any new charges through this site.
14. Variation
We have the right to change or discontinue any feature on or accessible through this site at any time, including your ability to conduct any transactions, site content, hours of availability, pricing, equipment required for access and the terms and conditions of this agreement. Any changes will be set out on this site.
15. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Northern Territory of Australia.
16. Entire Agreement
This agreement constitutes the whole agreement between you and us, and supersedes all prior representations, agreements, statements and understandings, whether verbal or in writing.
17. Waiver
None of the terms and conditions in this agreement will be taken to be waived except by written notice signed by you and us.
